The best part about having girlfriends is having a girl’s night! A classy, fun wine party can turn anyone’s week from drab to fab!
Create a girl’s night around a wine pairing experience! When buying a couple of bottles of different types of wine (reds, whites, and sparkling), be sure to buy cheeses, fruits and meats that will pair nicely with each. You can also assign a different gala certain type of wine and cheese so everyone contributes to the night’s festivities!
To create the ultimate experience, clear off a table and lay down a large piece of butcher paper and place each bottle of wine on the table behind the paired dish. Use simple white platters or chopping blocks for the cheeses and meats. For the pairing, mediate the amounts being poured by buying small tasting cups. Wine glasses can come after when everyone finds their favorite!
Fill a wine glass with the corks for decoration on the table or place corks in a vase with a bouquet or at the bottom of a candleholder. Wine glass tags are ideal for differentiating guests’ glasses. Its as simple as using different colored paper or ribbon! Chalkboard dipped stems work great too, just dip the base of a few wine glasses in chalkboard paint and voila!
Don’t forget to have a delicious dessert to end the night on a sweet note!
