The perfect place to say “I Do!” is under the stars at a coastal venue. Love was truly in the air for Veronica and Brady’s coastal inspired Serra Plaza wedding day!
The celebration began with a stunning outdoor ceremony. Moving away from the traditional wedding norms, the couple’s cocktail reception was held indoors while dinner and dancing were outside, in the beautiful coastal climate. Galvanized pales, oversized lanterns, greenery and white florals set the tone for the day. Textures and colors were combined brilliantly by Kim from Art With Nature to create a unique landscape for the ceremony and the reception. Vintage furniture, bars with signature drinks, and a large farm table with delectable Mediterranean tapas excited guests for what was to come for the rest of the evening.
A Serra Plaza wedding is known for their fountain! While beautiful in its own right, it was elevated to be the focal point for the evening with bounties of botanicals flowing just like the water! Guests dined under caf é lights in the center of the plaza. Vignettes, designed with photos from the couple’s favorite travels, were set up around the reception to give guests a place to rest their feet, but also reminisce on the couple and the reason they were there.
The couple wanted love to surround their special day, and it definitely did! Photos of their grandparents’ and parents’ weddings who have all been married over 25 years! adorned a piano during cocktail hour.
The most amazing piece of the day’s love story was a same-day film produced by Cana Family as a surprise for the couple! All the guests pulled up chairs, as the film of their wedding day was projected onto the side of the plaza! There was not a dry eye in the crowd, including the “always composed” groom!
Late night snacks from the Burnt Truck and Sweet and Saucy were the perfect finishing touches after a long night of dancing!
We had such a wonderful time planning Veronica & Brady’s coastal inspired Serra Plaza wedding and were so lucky to be a part of this chapter in their life! We also have to give a special shout out to Kellie, the amazing mother of the groom, who played a HUGE part in the planning. To say we feel blessed to have become a part of this family would not be doing it justice. To the Campbell and Otero families – thank you! Congratulations on forever!
