AN INTERTWINED EVENT: AMERICAN INDIAN WEDDING AT PELICAN HILL

We are so excited to share the American Indian weddingof Debby and Sameer with you! This was truly a special and spectacular day with the wedding takingplace atPelican Hillon a beautiful summer day.

They combined both their heritages withan American ceremony and an Indian one, both meaningful and full of love and joy! Debby’s beautiful bridesmaids embraced both the American and Indian traditions by wearing beautiful magenta gownswhile beingembellished withstriking henna tattoos, or mendhis!

The Indian ceremony wasabsolutely indescribable. Everything from the grand entrance toeach symbolic traditiontook our breath away. Sam entered the ceremony site on an intricately dressed (and large) elephant! (The very same elephant from the movie,Water for Elephants!) Debby wore a gorgeous customsari, which weighed nearly 40 pounds!
