WEDDING 101: WHERE TO SAVE AND WHERE TO SPEND, PART 3

Our Wedding 101 series continues as we continue to think big picture! We have discussed uplighting, chairs and linens. Now, its onto the dancefloor. Center of the room and center of attention for all the major events of the evening – this element should receive big attention from you and your budget.

Using an all white dancefloor transforms your space like no normal wooden floor can. Using and upgradeddancefloor adds elegance and class to any ballroom! While this style dancefloor may encourage a custom decal, you can save money by having your lighting teamcreate a custom lighted gobo (or wash)with monogram!

In addition, gorgeous florals can make all the difference. While you may want to cut costs here, a ballroom with alternating height and style of floral arrangements looks expensive and classy without breaking the bank – consider a tall, low, and candle centerpiece for the most cost effective budget. Also ask your florist what you can repurpose from your ceremony space to the reception; using the arch over the cake, aisle bouquets on the sweetheart table, or alter arrangements as tall centerpieces! Remember, reuse does reduce… your budget that is!
