AN INTERTWINED EVENT: A Pelican Hill Wedding So Bright and Light!

There’s nothing in the world that shines brighter than a couple in love and this was true for these New York Newlyweds! Join us as we share with you their wedding at Pelican Hill Resort.

Samantha knew on this special day that lighting was everything! She wanted to make a big impact with candles, lighting and create a glow within the space. And, that’s exactly what we did! LITERALLY!!! We partnered with the best at Shawna Yamamoto to dress the infamous Pelican Hill Rotunda with thousands of twinkling lights leaving their guest breathless. The lights didn’t stop there. We flooded the reception with different types of lighting. Not only were chandeliers installed over each long table, candelabras, votives, and taper candles were the night’s main decor.

As guest left such a magical ceremony, they were welcomed into a night that stayed so bright with a sparkling glass of champagne. The champagne was used as the couple’s escort cards. Servers lined the walkways with trays of champagne. Each glass having a personalized scroll with a guest name and the table number where they would be seated.

In love with Grateful Dead and being a true deadhead, the gummy bear martinis, turtle cuff links, and turtle cake topper were all must haves for the groom!

Together, the couple was watching NBC’s three-time Emmy Award-winning show, The Voice, and saw Nicholas David perform. They instantly knew they had found their first dance song. So in love with his performance, the couple insisted he perform on their very special day. To end the night right, the groom jumped on stage and performed a song with Nicholas David.
