AN INTERTWINED EVENT: A FUN MODERN VIBE AT PELICAN HILL

Ashley and Derek first met in Manhattan Beach. They were both at a local dive bar and instantly knew they wanted to talk to one another when they saw each. By the end of the night, and after one shirt change by Derek, they were inseparable! I guess you can say it was love at first sight and the start to their happily ever after! Derek is known for his amazing slippers! It’s safe to say he has a pair of slippers for every occasion – so of course, he had to pop the champagne with his shoe of choice!

A palm leaf is a MUST when it comes to a modern design and we loved the idea of having them as a focal point for Ashley and Derek’s wedding. However, we, of course, had to add a unique twist by making them metallic!!

The gold palms were incorporated in their florals, their monogram and on all their paper goods!

For a couple who met at a bar, fun was no foreign concept! They knew a live band would be the perfect way to end their night. They invited Flashback Heart Attack to do the last part of their reception – boy were they a huge hit!
