What could be more fun than marrying the love of your life? Having a game night inspired wedding, of course!!! Ellie and Greg love playing games – they have game nights at their home with their family and friends all the time. They think it’s a time to bond, laugh and make memories. So, of course, we had to implement this into the design of their stunning wedding on the coast at Terranea Resort!
From the save the dates that featured a word search, an invite with Connect The Dots, to the program that was a Mad Lib and acted as the couple’s guest book, there was not a single feature that escaped the game night inspiration!
Each centerpiece was simple, but incorporated mind games for guests to challenge their skills….Greg is a rocket scientist, literally, and may have been one of the very few people in that room who actually could solve those wood puzzles! The couple carefully hand made each escort card with a domino that matched the guest’s table number.
Oh and don’t think guests didn’t partake in the awesome lawn games at Cocktail Hour! Talk about bonding time! Giant Jenga, corn hole and table cloths with written puzzles incorporated the fun for guests of all ages and set the tone from the beginning that this was a night to celebrate and play!
We were so honored to be a part of this special and unique celebration and had such a blast designing a custom wedding for this couple that is sure to be playing games and enjoying each other’s love for years to come!
