Ok, I know and you know how much I detest the idea of a DIY project. I have a firm belief in letting those with the skill/talent/expertise create their masterpieces and I get to sit back and enjoy the fruits of their labor. However, after seeing all of the brilliant, colorful and creative ideas in Ruffled’s DIY Contest, I must admit I was a bit inspired to try it before I knock it.
Here is the project I chose – colorful wine bottles! And here is what theirs looked like:

I must admit that I was skeptical at first. But, I think they look pretty darn good (if I do say so myself). The trick for me was needing very few materials and even less time to complete the project. I have found that I thrive on instant gratification and I received just that from my very first DIY project.
