A package arrived on my doorstep today from one of my best friends, and being that I have the patience of a 2-year-old, I opened it immediately, days before my birthday. I laughed when I opened Chicken Soup for the Entrepreneur’s Soul, wrapped in the business section of the Chico newspaper! Not only was I surprised by the thoughtfulness of the gift, but it was shocking to realize that I am now an Entrepreneur! I can’t wait to read those stories and see how they inspire me.
I’m so excited about this journey we are taking – today we made a lot of progress and it just keeps becoming more real! We received some amazing logo designs that truly represented our hip, energetic and fresh personalities that we hope our company will also embody. Although we are moving along, I just want everything to be done – I want the website, the logo, the accounting and clients…I’m so excited for this dream to become reality!
I just have to remember that this journey is going to take a lot of patience – and to quote the article on being a Scorpio that my best friend just happened to also include, “The water of Scorpio is fixed and frozen, but it is a mistake to think that ice doesn’t flow. It does flow – and with great power. Think of a glacier, moving so very slowly, yet with enough power to flatten a forest or even a mountain.”
Patience…Patience is a virtue!
